He was the first Member. I was the 9th person to join. Can't really remember who the seven were in between!

As a site Moderator I can't say that I miss all of the drama created by the "karma" feature, but I will say that I miss all of the awesome times we used to have in the Dragon Chat room on a nightly basis. I haven't laughed so hard in years! Good times! BOOM!

When I first joined the site (August that year?) there were actually few enough people online that I read ALL of the member profiles. I remember reading about a woman who had written an historical novel based on the Civil War...does anyone remember who that was? I'd like to read her book but don't know where to find it.
