Re:Mr Max Clayton - 2008/09/24 19:36 Max, was and will always be an icon!!!! He along with people like Coach Ramos, Dick Bird, Ed Phagan, and my Dad, taught us the values of family, friends, country, and truth to ones self. One could be proud to say they were half the man any of these men were/are!!! Diane Williams however, stands alongside these gentlemen as a role model and influence on this fellows being.....out!!!!

Re:Mr Max Clayton - 2008/09/24 20:59 this was taken from an earlier post i made but Max Clayton confided this story to me after school one day and i dont think he told it to many folks.....

Anyone who went to Rehoboth Elem. should remember Maxwell Clayton the teacher who made ya march in place during class.Well he and i share the same birthday June 12th and one year he told me this story....

During the invasion of Okinawa japan in WW2 it was his birthday and he was running thru enemy fire when a bullet grazed his face, shaving off half of his moustache. When the fighting was over for the day he returned to camp and was immediately laffed at by everyone who saw this.He vowed never again to wear facial hair.
