Re:Scottsdale Mills - 2009/03/26 10:28 This wasn't at Scottsdale Mills cafe but I THINK awfully close to it. Does anybody remember eating at Pritchett's? I thnk Jim Pritchetts Grandma owned it. It had the best rolls I ever had and I also think they served what became the original Edward's Pies...Does anybody remember Edwards Pies with thte Bible verse on the bottom of the pie tin?

PittyPat....I was in the car the day you drew that picture...You sure had to watch us lil'kids a lot...no wonder you were so full of angst!

Re:Scottsdale Mills - 2009/03/26 13:53 Ah yes in those days it was ANGST, these days an artist with a critical eye...but I was a better artist then. Today my easel gets far less attention, but I have reason to pick up charcoal with sketches of my grandaughter and cartooning gladly. Cartooning is so refreshing these days. And I have old age ANGST. REfreash.

Re:Scottsdale Mills - 2009/03/26 22:14 The only thing I remember about SCOTTSDALE is a set of railroad tracks that set just above Vslley Brook and Ponce De Leon beyond Honey's! I remember the boys always talked about how they chased the black kids back across the tracks while throwing rocks at them! I always wondered about that since I was so young and I remember that my momma walked to and from Kraft's food all alone for months until she saved enough money to buy a car at Leopart Chevrolet! (in downtown Decatur)

Now I look back and the people that I thought were so smart and huge in my mind's eye, are merely ants and incredibly ignorant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
