Shakin Grace--May 15th--Moon Shadow - 2009/05/05 10:39 come one come all Shaking Grace will be playing at the Moon Shadow Saloon in Tucker..this should be a great show because it will ONLY be Shaking Grace..i hope to see lots of y'all there..and who knows there just might be a surprise...

Here is the info that I promised....

Greetings Earth Mortals....

Cool gig coming up: Shakin Grace @ the Moonshadow Tavern in Tucker on Friday May 15th! This is very cool because we have an entire night to ourselves! No other bands! Here is the agenda/mood setting:

Set 1: This will be more like popular stuff that you have heard on the radio. The drinks will start flowing. The girls will be a huddled together and looking at some guy saying "Oooohh... he's so cute!!" and the guy will be looking back at them thinking "Uhhh... words" and the music will kinda remind you of those moments. Look for some Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morr.. Moras.. whatever, Cheap Trick, Jefferson Airplane, Joplin, G&R...

Set 2: Mama... get your dancing shoes on! Now the girls have made the awkward connection with the guy. Grab him by the hand and drag him out for some Aretha, Wilson Pickett and some Mother's Finest. Maybe our bud Steve Pappas would like to come up at this time and band a few. Guys... dance with them through these songs and they will be putty in your hands... I'm a letcha know!!! I want to see some knee slidin', arm flailing, sweat flinging, move busting going on... no twisting please!

Set 3: Are you a hardcore rocker??? This is your set! Trower, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, UFO... get up close and grab some guitar (not the bass, please) ... This is what Shakin Grace does best. Mikey Gill is the man on guitar... no ifs, ands.. or butts! If you feel the need to throw down some badass air guitar... bring it! If you forget your air guitar, my side company, Air Axe Rentals, will be there to hook a brother up.

So come out and join me with Paula, Susan, Mike, and the Lar Man. We are there for the fun!!! We are there for the love!!! We are there for the tequila!!!

I really don't care if I ever make another penny playing music... as long as I get to play with this quality of players!
Our creed is this: Play music that is fun and what we have always wanted to play. Period. No compromise. AND... we have music tastes coming from all directions.
