I did enjoy the chat room days. So much so that I started getting "that look", and for domestic tranquility, had to go cold turkey. When I checked back some months later, it seemed that so much fun was being had, things got "a little out of control", I hear, and the Inquisition or something happened... Ever since, when I've checked back in, chat was a very quiet, even spooky, place...

It was very good mental stimulation, though. Four or five conversation threads running at a time, so you had to make your brain multitask to keep the conversations straight!

Sorry, but I don't have a suggestion for recovering the magic. Perhaps it was one of those things like first kiss, or first date, that was just a time and place to be remembered? It was a blast, that's for sure!

Just sprinkle posts like "Ida, meet me in chat to discuss that 'thing', you know, THAT 'thing'" or "Susie, you won't believe what I saw at the last reunion - meet me in chat..." It would work on me, anyway..
