It would be great if every time a Dragon visits this site he/she would write something new in the "discussion forums". It helps us keep in touch and only takes a minute!

At the risk of being snarky (OH NO!) it just seems that whenever a new post is made ... the same 1 or 2 people just override that new post before anyone else who might come a visiting can see it ---- so, to the untrained eye, it just looks the same folks are the only ones posting - making it APPEAR boring!... pretty much the reason I took a leave of this wonderful website (that is so full of personal memories) and took up company with that oversized monstrosity called Facebook where not every post is monopolized and taken over by a few ~~~ mho
I'd much rather hang out here ... I miss my shamrockreunions.com!!!!

I am sure people get tired of seeing my name on posts all the time, but as a Moderator, I do try to respond to ALL of them if I can, just to acknowledge the person that posted it. I usually appear to be online, too, but that doesn't mean I actually am there in front of my computer. I am by no means actually online 24/7!
I miss the comraderie of the site when it first opened. We had so much fun in the Dragon Chatroom on a nightly basis. I haven't laughed so hard in years!
Come on, Dragons! Let's get it back together and have some fun!!!!

Snarky? Who would ever accuse anyone in here of being SNARKY? Especially ya'll! 
Me, I just stop in on a regular basis, just to sort of reminisce about hashing over all those old memories, and wish things were the way they were, once upon a time...back when the site was new...and we all loved one another! 
I would like to point out, however, that BOB still has the greatest website in HISTORY as far as I'm concerned. You won't find me on FACEBOOK. At least not yet. I might have to go there because of my Etsy store, one day. Just a bizness thing, though. 
I miss ya'll!

Yes, I do miss the action of the site when new. Don't we always like the new toys better, then put them aside when something new comes along?
I'm sure a lot of topics ran their course. And I understand from the sociology/psychology experts that our experience here is very normal - flush of activity when group reunites for first time in years, then when most find they have only a few things in common, slowly drifts away.... Hate to be an example of such a depressing behavior!
I still love to find out about Shamrock-related people and their lives - only being there two years, most folks on the site never knew me and vice versa, but it has been very nice to connect.
I'll keep checking in, without having a great deal to contribute, but will try to acknowledge y'all who make such an effort to keep "the vibe" going.
Thanks to everyone who drops in...

It's true -- by definition REUNION cannot continue forever...once connected some of us found out we didn't have much in common. Others of us found friends we never had! Unfortunately, the same could be said for enemies...just had to snark that one in! 
We have reunited. It was good. We reminisced, and it was good. We could probably find new things to talk about now. That would be good. 
BTW, Jay, my long-leaf pine is now taller than me , has several sets of real branches, especially a nice bottom branch, and I think about you everytime I see it!

I have a virus on my computer, so I logged off of everything while I was trying to eradicate it! UGH!
