Pearidge - 2007/09/23 12:07 I grew up in Pearidge, and I lived on Johns Rd. You know where Twin Brothers Lakes were. I hung with Connie Hall, and her older brother Donnie (class of 70 or 71) and a friend of his actually hung a sign in front of Rehoboth School that said "Welcome to Pearidge Speed Limit 15 Miles an Hour. It was a hoot. It didn't hang there long. I loved Pearidge, it was my home. I went through about 3 months ago, and it has not changed that much in places, but it has in other ways. I remember what it all looked like before I-285 went through there. 5 Star store near Rehoboth Baptist Church and there was another store across the street from 5 star. I use to go there and buy a small bag of penny candy. You can not do that any more. I guess I'm really old to remember that far back Huh?

Re:Pearidge - 2010/04/14 15:41 Well, here's just one more, from Robin. I'll tell ya'll right here on the world wide web that Robin Sims Sartain is my friend, and not the kind you can unfriend at the push of a button, either!

I've known Robin since the first grade (that little freckled-faced girl, you know), but thanks to the Shamrock Reunions website, we were reunited as ADULTS! I think she's quite a gal...and it's folks like her that make life grand.
