A little MG? - 2007/08/15 23:53 Did anyone in this class drive a little convertible...like a MG? A guy. I did something quite naughty back in 72 or 73 and I'd like to apologize. (assuming steam has quit coming outta his ears)

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 07:54 I'd recognize this fellow if I saw him. He had lighter hair than John.

(notice how I just skipped right over the 'what did you do' part?)

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 08:01 Mike Rowland had a Triumph Spitfire which is similar to an MG. It was blue as I recall. His hair was somewhere between blond and light brown.

I checked my eighth grade annual and can't find Mike Rowland so he must be the year prior. Do you have a pic you can scan? The guy kinda resembled Steve Southern. Did he have a MG?

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 13:51 Sam Nash had an MG, and IIRC, David Fletcher got one as well toward the end of our SR year ('74). Don't know if the act you perpetrated was before or after that time.

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 17:26 Where's that little zippered mouth smilie?

David Fletcher? Holy cow...Mary Ruth's brother? He wouldn't have chased me. He would have just killed me in my sleep the next time I came to spend the night.

Mark, good move on your part. I know too much.

So yeah...hopefully I can find this guy's picture/name and apologize. (and I also hope he isn't some weirdo psychopath living in his mother's basement, signing onto this forum while wearing underwear and drinking cheap beer)

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 17:46 I hate to tell you DANA-but I had an MG, too. I may not have had a license, but by golly I could drive a five speed. It was an olive color. You can still find pieces of it on Clairmont Rd.where David took that one out, too!
What did you do!!?? Me, your bestest bud?!?!?

Mark Allen-a little scared of Dana? Admit it! We are terrified of her still! She only looks innocent-

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 21:37 I remember the guy that was showing the school to my group from Idlewood Elementary in the spring of 1972 drove an MG. I don't remember his name, but I do remember the car was not where he left it when we went by the student parking lot. Seems it had the ability to move all on its own.

Re:A little MG? - 2007/08/16 23:39 Dana better come off of some details or we'll have to start guessing. That could get ugly
