Demise of ROCK CITY! - 2011/04/03 23:41
Yes people, this hard time economy has struck the good people of ROCK CITY, so ROCK CITY will be no more! We sold everything we had to buy our VW Bandagon, and are now performing as "True Miles Unknown" The Moonshadow Tavern is always 1st on the list of places that love to have us play, and they are doing again for True Miles Unknown.
The show will be on May 14, Saturday night beginning at 8PM! We go on right at 8, and we play until 10. Their is entertainment after we start hanging out at 10, performed by "Zen Dogs" and they had a great set at our last show too. They do an great version of the Allman's "Jessica," and closed last show with Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do," which was enjoyed by us all.
True Miles Unknown is also releasing our newest single, which is being recorded as we speak, and you will receive a free copy with admission. We denizons from the now defunct ROCK CITY owe a special thank you to this web site's proprietor Bob Griggs. Without his initial vision and networking talents, we might all be scratching around wondering what had happened to all of us cool people we used to know and love. BOOM!
