Your Very First "Crush" - 2008/11/08 07:56 When I was 7yrs old and lived in Italy,
I remember watching "Bonanza" and telling
my mom I was going to marry "Adam".
When my daughter was 7yrs old she informed
me that she was going to marry "Patrick Swayze",
he just made her melt...too cute!

Re:Your Very First "Crush" - 2008/11/10 10:37 Susan Callahan? I think I barely remember her, yea. I think she sat right in front of me in Mrs. McMahon's geometry class and if I can remember, I think she was kinda cute for an older woman( I was in 9th grade) but a crush? Me? On her?

Ok already! I thought she was the sweetest most beautiful "woman" in the world. She was very nice to me and she didn't have to be cuz I was just a boy and she was a total woman dating Ricky Lewis at the time, so I knew I had no chance. But being friends with her that year was one of the highlights of my high school years. It was one of the few classes I did not skip during that year. She was so beautiful yet down to earth and very sweet. And I am glad to say she hasn't changed a bit. She is just as nice and beautiful today(as all us Oasis guys will attest) only MORE fun to be around. She is still the kind of girl you can get a crush on...... ....

Re:Your Very First "Crush" - 2008/11/11 00:20 My 1st crush (that I remember) was in 5th grade. It was a guy named Jeff Watson. His family moved that summer and he wound up being a stand out football player at Towers. Lisa Kerley

Re:Your Very First "Crush" - 2008/11/11 07:27 My first crush was SHS trackstar, James Price. I just knew if I played my cards right and shared my quail foot collection with him, he would see the light and be mine...what can I say, I was like five. James, I've lost the quail feet but, well...ya know...I'm just sayin'...

Re:Your Very First - 2008/11/11 23:43 My heart is weeping! Aaaawwwwww! Wiiiiiinneeeeeeeasss! First Love's have a way of effecting us that way!

MY first love was "David Mayer" who attended Druid Hills High School and was the best male skater at Medlock Skating Rink before it burned down. I had the biggest crush on him when I was 12! David worked behind the skating counter. I would fake ball-barren malfunction and wheel alignment needs, just to sit up on the counter and direct him to the malfunction with my skates! David and I met again when I was 18 before he shipped off to boot camp back in 1980. He was a great guy!!!!! And, s very sexy dude........ I loved to watch him and his friends play muddy football on the Druid Hills Football Field...... While I didn't stay in touch with him like I WISH I hsd, he came home!!!! Thank God! And we are friends to this day! Found him at LongHorn's Bar on North Druid Hills Rd., many years ago and we picked up where we left off...Some things are never meant to be! I never did find out what I was missing other than just a great looking, fun loving, incredible gentleman that treated me like a lady! One of the things that I thought right......Yeah!

My mom was petrifried for no reason!!!!! Little did she know she had much bigger fish to frye!!!!!! Hee! Heee! Heeeeee!

Re:Your Very First - 2009/05/29 02:18 WITHOUT A DOUBT 110% Polly Creech.

Coach wells had a thing for whacking me on the rear end with a 3/8 dowel rod in wood shop, but I don't think it was a crush.

Boy this site is bringing back some memories.

Re:Your Very First - 2009/05/29 14:47 First was Ruth Ellen in the 3rd , 4th , 5th , 6th and 7th grade. She never knew other than catching me all googled eyed staring once in a while. Then moved to Shamrock. Linda Scolfield lived in the neighborhood and I use to watch for her as I walked to school. She was a few years older and again never knew. Married early to a high school sweetheart(most of you knew who) that turned sour. The only things in life that are free,,

Your memories and the air you breathe

Re:Your Very First - 2009/05/29 19:29 In my previous reply to this post I left out someone that I had a crush on when I was in my junior year and
that was Billy Lord. He lived off Canadian Way in Montreal Woods subdivision. I used to sing the "Build Me Up Buttercup Baby" song but substituted Billy for "baby". Oh lordy!
Duke, I remember Linda.
