Dropped in at Shamrock the other day! - 2009/01/16 11:12 I've been accepted into our county's program to train to be a substitute and ASP teacher...I had to go by Shamrock to get a copy of my transcripts (I can't find my diploma)...WOW...just stepping on the campus bought back a flood of old memories and going inside was incredible...it was during lunch time and the smells were instantly recognizable...the rolls smelled great! Even though I was only there for a few minutes it was a very emotional experience...I think we can all agree that our years at Shamrock were some of the best of our lives.

Re:Dropped in at Shamrock the other day! - 2009/01/16 13:04 I agree Hoddy. Remember when we had that 10 minute or so break after 2nd period and all us Hippie Freaks would meet in the lobby? And I think we tried going outside to throw a frisbee, but that got squashed real quick. Or there was a time when we had a pep rally and we made those banners like "Flip Em' Out Dragons"? I think we may have gotten in trouble for those too. Oh well..... memories.

Re:Dropped in at Shamrock the other day! - 2009/01/16 14:57 I agree Hoddy, the best times of our lives and many memories. You should take a walk through the school one day. It's basically still the same. Shamrock Middle School had an "Open House" last summer on Aug. 6th. I picked up Meter since he lives near the school and we went. It took me back and I swear I felt 17 again! The memories came flooding back as I walked down the halls.
I plan to go again.
