ROCK CITY & Oasis - 2009/02/11 09:24 It's that time of day, when you can say, c'mon and head..... for the MOONSHADOW TAVERN to see ROCK CITY. The great news is it is the weekend of the Oasis. Anyone coming in from out of town can see ROCK CITY in Tucker on Friday, Feb 27, then all hang out at the Oasis on Saturday. Several people can't do Loganville, so here's is your chance to have a mini reunion in Tucker.

Show starts at 9pm, there is no cover for Shamrock alums, and the food, drink and atmosphere are superb. So come hang with your friends. listen to all of the number 1 hits from the 70's and 80's as well as some originals written by none other than Shamrock grad, Kevin Tobin. It will be a soft acoustic style set at 9pm, and then the Zeppelin and harder stuff at 10:00 and beyond. Bring your dancin shoes too cuz it will be tempting. Hope to see you all there!

Re:ROCK CITY & Oasis - 2009/02/16 10:08 Well, I guess everyone is getting pretty old, and I shouldn't expect many of you to come to the Oasis AND the Moonshadow Tavern in Tucker to see my band ROCK CITY. It is on the Friday BEFORE the Oasis. February27.

I can and will lower myself to bribery, and Melissa really gets cranky when not too many people show at our gigs, so if ANYONE can do both nights please come here my band at the Moonshadow on Friday night in Tucker. We begin at 9pm so if you live close, come eat a great meal and listen for a while, then go home and tuck yourselves in and get really rested for the blowout at the Oasis. And, pity me, I have to play until 1:30AM AND work Saturday, THEN get ready for the Oasis. If I can do it anyone can. Here is just a sample of the set list......

Maybe we can get a few more players (musical that is) to sit in on some of there favorite tunes. Have sort of an all-dragon band. I am definitely up for that kind of bribery. Any more takers?
