Re:ROCK CITY rumors... - 2009/05/27 08:17 What's That Man Holding In His Hand?
He Looks A Lot Like A Guy I Knew Way Back When
Its Silly Willy With Philly Band
Could Be . . . . . Oo-Ee . . . . . .
What's That Man Movin' Cross The Stage?
It Looks A Lot Like The One Used By Jimmy Page
Its Like A Relic From A Different Age
Could Be . . . . . Oo-Ee . . . . . .

If There's Rock Show
At The Concertgebow
They're Got Long Hair
At The Madison Square
You've Got Rock And Roll
At The MOONSHADOW (tavern in tucker)
We'll Be There . . . . . . Oo Yeah . . . . . . .

If Paul McCartney believes in us, then you should too. He was planning on coming but something kept "Coming Up." He told me you can't be "Here There & Everywhere," but that our show should be phenomenal as "Venus & Mars" are alright tonight!

**Steve-this is lesson 2. Completely change the perspective of the post, by bringing in famous people to tout your event. They may get bored with us, but who can get bored by what Sir Paul McCartney has to say? Wish he could make it but he says his life is all "Helter Skelter!"

Re:ROCK CITY rumors... - 2009/05/29 08:07 Just got off the phone with Rod Stewart. Yea that one. Unfortunately (as usual) he can't make it but he wanted to pass this along to my Shamrock buds......

TONITE'S THE NIGHT. IT'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT CUZ I LOVE YA GIRL,
AIN'T NOBODY GONNA STOP US NOW!!!!!!!!

I told him that I could not have said it better. And I also told him in his honor we would NOT do any Rod Stewart songs! If he can't get off his "bum" and make the Moondshadow tonite than I can't help his career.

It is official, that Who's Left, the cover band of the Who and only the Who, will be making a guest appearance tonite for some great tunes by guess who? No not the Guess who ( I smell a comedy act coming on here...) The Who. (Or is it The Ooo)

Also Steve Pappas is definitely joining us for 3 tunes (he only thinks 2 so he's probably getting a little excited about now. See everyone who's cool tonite! Hang the Oasis!!!!!!!!

Re:ROCK CITY rumors... - 2009/05/29 14:45 Better?!? Hell yes it's better! Except that I told Diamond Dave to call you and he told me he was coming out! You just can't trust rockers........ceptin for ROCK CITY of course. All you "Beautiful Girls" can come out and "Dance The Night Away" with or without David Lee frickin Roth right? Forget "Panama", cuz all we need is Tucker and a bunch of great friends to "Finish What We Started." Rock On!!!!!!!

And Deb, I hope you got a good look at the Who at Woodstock, cuz you will be hearing some great cuts from them. Can't wait to see you there.

Re:ROCK CITY rumors... - 2009/05/29 18:35 Headin out for the Moonshadow. I hope to see everyone there tonite. If you need directions (you probably did not go to Shamrock) just google Moonshadow Tavern in Tucker, and you will see it. If you have missed any of our other shows, you will not want to miss tonite. Celebrities galore!!! Look me up when you get there. Kevin

Re:ROCK CITY rumors... - 2009/05/30 03:36 What a great night! Thanx to everyone who made it out tonight at the Moonshadow! I hope you enjoyed the night as much as I did! This band has nevr sounded better, and what a treat for all the musicians that participated!

Who's Left was a special treat for me, as my drummer Ron Burns(from Fragile no less) and Mere ( who shall forever be known as "the Fox", joined me for "Substitute", Baba O'Riley", and Won't Get Fooled Again."

And don't forget the suprise horn player on "Chain of Fools" was especially tasteful and bluesy. And my rhythm section was blowing me away. We had Marcy and Charles on drums and they really filled up the sound. I hope you enjoyed all of the talent on display, as it really made my job very easy.

Rena and Greg, it was great of you to arrive in town early and make the gig, and Faye, Debra, Jeff Shirley and Mr. Steve Pappas, joined by the two pleasant surprises Robin and Gail (still lookin hot as ever).

The bar was packed most of the night, so natch they want us back on June 26th. It really has turned into a great gig for me, as it is so close to the old home and so many of my great Shamrock friends. See everyone tomorrow night at the Oasis, which is gonna have a tough time topping what went on tonite! 1 day and counting...........
