Strange Things I've Done - 2007/09/03 15:33 This is a hard one. My life has been pretty benign .

I did meet a man through a personals ad. I also married him. We have been married over 25 years!

I went on a campaign several years ago to locate my Mother-in-Law's family whom she had not seen since age 11 (and she was at this time 81.) Many letters and phone calls later we found them still living in VA, where she had been born. It is a long story, because both parents died in 1920. But relationships were established and we continue to visit with them today. My mother-in-law died the year following her reunion with them all. I felt like this was a prettyy awesome thing... but maybe not stranghe, eh????

Maybe if I keep thinking I come up with two more???
Geeze, this is terrible!

Re:Strange Things I've Done - 2007/09/03 16:26 Cyndy,

That's very cool - helping your mother-in-law like that. We have met distant relatives in our family, and I know the feeling it creates, so I can imagine what she had been hoping for for over half a century! Well Done!

Anyone teaching school for a full career has done a hundred things that would make us all say "Whaaat!?", I'm sure. But if you should not find two more, I'd give you full credit just for that one!
