Re:Oct 10 Reunion - 2009/06/19 12:26 Thats funny, I really learned a lot of German, for someone who was never in class !!!
I still know more German than I do Spanish, and I've been married to a Mexican lady for 34 years !!

Laura and Lisa have worked hard to get this reunion planned. Thanks Dragonettes!

Re:Oct 10 Reunion - 2009/08/17 13:46 Okay now....come on folks and get registered! A current list is now posted and will be updated as time goes on. I have gotten more than 100 more emails on here and my LLKERLEY2001@yahoo.com from people who say they are coming but still have not registered.

PLEASE go ahead and register (even if you are paying by check) so that we can plan with the hotel to make sure we have all the room we need!

The cost has gone up to $50/person for the event but still well worth that price! Goes up to $55/person in September!

Sleeping rooms are still available for Friday and Saturday nights at $95/night including tax.

The golf outing has been finalized and the cost per person is $89 for 18 holes and cart fees at Heritage Golf Course in Tucker.

We are still finalizing the bus for the SHS tour and are hopeful that will be finalized this week. Depending on the number of participants for the tour, the cost is expected to be $5 to $10 person. We have to pay a small fee to the school for opening their doors to us and for the bus.

Friday night, several are staying at the hotel and it will be an "on your own" night but there are 2 bars where we can all gather. The hotel has a restaurant with really good food! (Laura and I tested it out) We will also have a hospitality room on the 1st floor.

A SHS Alumni will also be doing Beauty Control facials on Friday night and Saturday for those interested!

The Sunday picnic will be an "on your own" deal where you will supply the food for your own family. Location will be announced soon!

The whole weekend will be un and hope you will join us!

If you have any questions, please contact me or Laura Klingensmith on here or @ LLKERLEY2001@yahoo.com -- Laura_Klingensmith@yahoo.com!

Look forward to seeing you in October!

Re:Oct 10 Reunion - 2009/08/23 17:45 Yep Richard is coming! Looking forward to meeting you too!

The Reunion is about 8 weeks away and still have a couple 100 of you who have said you are coming but have not officially registered!

Remember sleeping rooms are limited so if you need a room, please register asap so we can keep the hotel updated and still have time to extend the block of rooms if needed!

Still room for golfers and bus tour folks too!

Please go to the home page here at Shamrockreunions.com and complete the registration form!

Thanks!

Are we going to have an Oasis or Druid Hills Shopping Center gathering before the reunion????? With this nice weather, it would be nice to sit out side somewhere and have a beer and pizza or hot sandwich and talk about the up coming reunion.
Any ideas?

Re:Oct 10 Reunion - 2009/09/23 18:19 Registration for the October 10th reunion has now been going on for almost 3 months. We are down to the wire with only 2 weeks until the event!

If you plan on attending the reunion, YOU MUST register AND pay no later than Sunday, September 27th. We can not guarantee room after that. (We have to report numbers to the venue on Monday Sept. 28th).

We can HOPEFULLY add a few people the following week but can not guarantee any additions. We can also still get hotel sleeping rooms through Monday for sure so it is critical you register now! No guarantees on sleeping rooms past Monday either. You will also pay for your hotel through the registration /payment process to get our special rate. Calling the hotel WILL NOT get you this low rate.

Come on and join us! It is going to be a lot of fun! Some people are bringing spouses and some are coming stag! We have friends getting hotel rooms and splitting the cost! Think about it, if you go out on a Saturday night to dinner and a movie, it will cost you as much if not more than the reunion!

The reunion cost pay for a full buffet dinner a blast from the past DJ, dancing and seeing old friends, teachers and neighbors!

Our DJ is Mark McCain----morning DJ from 96 ROCK---the #1 ranked DJ in Atlanta radio in the 70's and 80's. He will be playing hits from our school days and more!

There will be a Beauty Control Consultant (SHS Alumni from 1981) doing facials on Friday night and all day Saturday at the hotel! IT IS FREE!!!! Needless to say, I am sure you will find products you will find you can't live without and Jayne can get them for you!

PLEASE go to Shamrockreunions.com and register TODAY! We don't want you to miss this AWESOME fun filled night! I have gotten 118 emails this past week of people saying they are coming that still have not registered...today is the day!!!!

Please feel free to contact me at LLKERLEY2001@yahoo.com or Laura Klingensmith @ Laura_Klingensmith@yahoo.com with any questions or if you have trouble registering! We really want you to join us!
