Who's Left - 2009/08/31 15:54 I just wanted to let you know of a cool gathering happening on Friday night, Sept 4 at Little Tree Studios. A night of Beatles and Who music will begin around 8pm, and it will be attended by many area high school grads from circa 76! Towers, Columbia, Avondale and Shamrock grads will be there and we are waiting for some more responses.

The Beatles music will be perfomed by "The Buggs", and the Who will be performed by none other than "Who's Left", featuring musicians from Fragile, with me on vocals. The studio has great stage and sound, and you can get right up to the stage, or stand just outside where the sound is still great and you can smoke and cuss and hang.

Admission is free, and you can order any drink you like at the fully stocked wet bar (donations and tips are encouraged). Music will conclude around 10:30.

Please come out and party and reminisce with old friends as well as new, while listening to the greatest rock and roll ever written. You will be ready for the rest of the Labor Day weekend just like the old days. If you need additional info try this: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=120097543524&ref=mf (you will need a facebook acct to view)

Re:Who's Left - 2009/09/04 16:06 OK peeps! The Buggs have just sound checked and the vocals for the Beatles music is dialed in. They play only the Beatles from 63-66 (pre-pepper) and no matter how many times I hear those songs I start smiling all over again. Just wonderful tunes.

Please remember to obey the speed limit in "downtown" Avondale. You can do whatever else you want, but they do not like speeders. The bar is all set and the liquor and beer are stocked up. Please be generous with the "donations" for drinks, as the sound and lighting guy upped his fee at the last minute. We have paid for the stage setting, lights and sound, and alcohol and our only hope is to break even while having a great outdoor party. And there is indoor seating and standing room as well, but it looks like the weather is gonna be perfect.

Who's Left will go on after 9:30, and the show should be all buttoned down around 11:00. Although last time people hung around a couple of hours later helping us finish off the booze. Please be safe this Labor Day weekend and bring your cameras for free pics with the band afterwards. Creative Memories end up better when you have a great start. SEE YA!

Re:Who's Left - 2009/09/10 00:31 What a great night we had. Don't believe me? Check out our you tube video. Sound quality is sub, but we sounded great in the room. We will also be doing the Buckhead Music Festival at East Andrews Upstairs October 16. Tickets are $10 and benefit the Humane Society. Come on out and we will make sure all Shamrockers get backstage for the post gig party. Here's your link (and dig my vintage vest) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0nks5R4TMw
