Re:rick lambeth - 2010/01/26 21:30 Being 1/64th or 1/128th (I can't remember) Choctaw-hatchee and also a repairman, I find your choice of the name Apacheoem interesting. The combination of Apache and oem in my field of work would mean that you are an Apache original equipment manufactuer...I'm just sayin'....

Re:rick lambeth - 2010/01/26 21:45 That is a VERY astute observation Brian! It's a somewhat silly choice of monikers, but, a long time ago, I cut my teeth on the Apache web server platform. I ended up combining that IT slang with "OEM" and have used it as a username in one fashion or another ever since.

Re:rick lambeth - 2010/01/27 07:50 Wow. What a throwback. I can't believe you remember that Julie. I was inching along Lawrenceville Highway in my white Chevy Monza 2+2, probably blaring AC/DC Highway to Hell. There was a backhoe or something gyrating in the middle of the road. I looked up, slammed a Hearse, and knocked a dead guy's feet between the Hearse's curtains. I was near naked with nothing on but swim trunks and was having to walk on hot asphalt and the morticians' fresh tobacco spit. According to them, the deceased had just been picked up from a recliner where rigor mortis had set in. Good times! - Rick Lambeth

Re:rick lambeth - 2010/01/27 21:45 I feel so at home here. How does Julie Braschler remember so much about me (and my stomach tricks)?

Re:rick lambeth - 2010/01/28 16:32 I am sure the entire Class of '80 remembers your stomach tricks! They were legendary! ~~ Dragon #9 Susie

It's never too late to have a happy childhood, but the second one is up to you and no one else.

Re:rick lambeth - 2010/01/31 21:28 We were glad to help you out there Rick, It was, after all, the week before Graduation and all, couldn't very well let you miss out on that ole friend. Heck, we were friends from back in the 7th grade there at McClendon. You and I had some really good times as kids, you know....back before we really knew what the world was really about. We were on the edge of finding out though, and we had a good time there in those apartments. I guess you could call that time period, our "Wonder Years".
