Re:Never Married? - 2007/10/30 23:45 I will count myself among the "never married" set, and my feelings about that vary from time to time. I don't regret not having kids, though, because...well, let's just say there are certain legacies that don't need to be handed down to another generation.

Had I gotten married to the most likely candidate (the guy I dated senior year of HS (he went to Clarkston), and all through freshman year of college), I'd probably be divorced with a couple of grown children by now. Happier? Probably just different.

I do love being an aunt, and now a great-aunt, and I love having fun with other people's kids and then giving them back. And now, I think my lifestyle as a "Never Married" isn't much different from the many divorced people I know. So I just tell people that I skipped my first husband, and I'm going straight for the second one.

All my frineds are divorced now and they all are
jealous that I live the life I want and dont have to pay child support or have a crazy EX wife stalking my every move..Lol
