Re:Rehoboth - 2008/10/28 21:08 Janice,
Eber is my brother-in-law. I have been married to his little brother Wesley ('77) for 30 years. Eber became a grandpa for the first time last Friday. I'm sure he will be interested in the info about Hoghead, I will be sure to let him know.

Re:Rehoboth - 2009/01/29 15:15 i have always remembered when aldredge got on the intercom to announce that Hank Aaron has just broke Babe Ruth's all time home run record. April '74.

i also remember how van yon, who lived right beside the school, would get dropped off by his mom, in a cadillac.
never could figure that one out.

when someone said "meet me behind the pharmacy after school", that meant a fight was forthcoming.

field day was oh so exciting

playing foxes and hounds rarely was exciting

remember herbert ricketts?

i still have a picture of my 3rd grade ms. davis class

It's never too late to have a happy childhood, but the second one is up to you and no one else.

Re:Rehoboth - 2009/01/29 17:17 ok so i think this is my 800th post which must be some kind of record....or it could just mean that I need to get a life or atleast a good book....So anyway HERBERT RICKETTS!?!
He got me in big trouble in fifth grade with Ms. Maybe. We had a new girl in our class and I think she was from england....anybody remember? So, anyway Herbert was making fun of her accent so of course I stepped in. Ms. Maybe missed the whole part of me defending the girl but saw me kick Herbert in the shin. I had to go see ms Kenopke and mr Aldridge. He was very very tall....mr Alderidge not herbert ricketts

Re:Rehoboth - 2009/01/29 22:12 HEY DEBBIE, I KNOW YOU DONT KNOW ME, BUT WHEN THEY USED TO HAVE THE CARNIVALS AT REHOBOTH, WE USED TO BRING OUR HORSE UP THERE AND SELL PONY RIDES. EBER USED TO WORK FOR MY DAD, RUSSELL. I TALKED TO HIM JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO.I REMEMBER WHEN EBER WORKED AT MR. HARRALSONS. I HATED THAT HE PASSED ON, BUT DAD SAID HE HAD BEEN REAL SICK LATELY.ANYWAYS, DO YALL REMMEBER MISS DAVIS? SHE GOT MAD AT ME ONE DAY, AND SAID, AND I QUOTE"LITTLE BOY RICHARDSON, IM A GONNA HANG YOU UP BY THEM LIGHTS, AND WEAR YOUR LITTLE BUTT OUT IN JUST ONE MINUTE"AND I THINK SHE WOULD HAVE TOO!!! ITS A WONDER WE SURVIVED THOSE DAYS.WHEN I GET A CHANCE, ILL SEE IF I CAN ROUND UP SOME OF THE PICS FROM THE OLD CARNIVAL DAYS, AND MAYBE BRING THEM UP TO THE GET TOGETHER NEXT MONTH.HOPE TO SEE YALL THEN. Re:Rehoboth - 2009/01/30 01:10 Janice, I never knew Eber but have heard his name. My EX-sister-in-law Kathy Wells used to date an Eber. I know there can't be more than one of them. She and Clark did have three beautiful kids and two funny and sweet grandsons!

Re:Rehoboth - 2009/01/30 07:40 I like to think I was one of their (Mr Aldridge and Ms Kenopke) favorites....
Once I dropped my bagged lunch on the way to school and a big mean dog "whizzed" on it.
Crying, I picked it up and took it to the office to show Ms Kenopke and tell her what happened.
You can imagine when I popped the wet bag on the counter and explained what happened. I thought she was gonna have a fit!

I got a free "Hot" lunch that day.

WOW--I remember FIGHTS behind the pharmacy! It was like a forerunner to "Fightclub".
