Art At The Rock - 2007/10/25 07:37 Hey I have two wonderings.....
1.) Can anybody tell me the history of the rock figures painted in Mr. Aiken's art room? Did a student paint those? I remember they were on a black background. 10 Dragon cookies if you can name them.

2.) Who painted and whatever happened to the dragon in the Gym?

...Proudly standing on Mount Olive, yadda, yadda, yadda.......How doe that go? It is stuck in my head and I'm afraid I'll be quized.

Re:Art At The Rock - 2007/10/25 08:06 I know that Stephanie Shulenberger painted the nipples on Robert Plant. She was so in love with him.

As of this past February 24, the dragon was still alive and well on that wall in the gym. I'm at least 90% sure of that. Having just finished the annual Charles Harris 10K (Tucker HS to Shamrock MS), I confess to having been in a bit of mental fog, but almost certainly the big dragon was still there. Without question it was there the year before.

Re:Art At The Rock - 2007/10/25 19:53 Back then one of the coolest teachers ever, was Mrs. Mc Ellen, she let us paint the rock stars, I told them they had to have Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, and Stephanie, had to have Robert plant, like Janice said, I know Dan Walraven, Walt Page, and I had the idea, and worked on it , but i cant remember much else, but a bunch of others helped paint it tommy jacobs

Re:Art At The Rock - 2007/10/25 19:56 The dragon on the gym wall today is not the same dragon that was there during my days at Shamrock. Click on the file library and go to the pictures of Shamrock today. That is definately a different dragon. I think the old dragon was much more impressive.
