super bowl treats - 2008/01/29 18:29 So, what's your fave snack to take to the super bowl party?
Or what do you order out and have delivered to the par-tee?

Re:super bowl treats - 2008/01/29 19:13 Definitely HOT WINGS! And I make a pretty mean spinach and artichoke hearts dip! Yummm! ~~ Dragon #9 Susie

It's never too late to have a happy childhood, but the second one is up to you and no one else.

Re:super bowl treats - 2008/01/29 19:45 This is a throw-back to one of Atlanta's most embarassing moments: SuperBowl XXXIII. DIRTY BIRD RICE! Love it and still have it at least once a month. I have the original recipe for it, but a simpler version is to buy Zatarain's Dirty Rice and, instead of using browned ground beef as the box instructs, I brown a package of Jimmy Dean mild sausage. The sausage adds quite a nice little kick!

Also, when it's our turn to host the SB party, I HAVE to make Banana's Foster - it just goes with the dirty rice. Seems I always walk back into the kitchen just when a couple of the guys are sticking their fingers in the pan to get that last drop of sauce! Too funny!

Re:super bowl treats - 2008/01/30 23:34 Hot Wings are a must and, a big pot of "Chili", not to mention the homemade "Con Quesa" made with Jimmy Dean sausage! Big Veggie Tray, Taco Bar, and a big "Bannana Pudding", along with a "Chocolate Cake" and some "French Vanilla" ice cream.....

Mama' knows how to feed a crowd.........!!!!!It's a Southern thing..........
