Looking for Sammy - 2008/05/07 00:09 I've called a # listed on 411.com for Sammy Christopher. That was not "our" Sammy. There is another listing for a Samuel H. Christopher in Maryland with a wife listed as Marsha. Do you know his wife's name? The ages that are on the listing are 55 - 59 which would be in the correct range I believe. Does anyone know if he was Sammy Christopher the IV? He is a hard one to find with what I thought was an uncommon name.
Still looking.

Re:Looking for Sammy - 2008/05/07 07:18 Laurie, It seems like Sammy's full name did include Roman numerals, and it may have been IV.

And you're right, his middle initial was (is) H, for Horton. I'm almost certain that he lived for a while in Hawaii, and it's possible that he's still there.

Re:Looking for Sammy - 2008/05/07 18:48 Yes he was. And I went to kindergarten at his church. And the rumors are true...it WAS me that made him get down on his hands and knees and crawl under that huge, short art table to drag me out because I didn't want to take a nap.

I am surely on a path to H- E - double toothpicks for THAT! I started young!

Sammy was actually a student teacher of mine when I was at SHS, so he may have become a teacher. Check with the local BOE to see if he is listed as Faculty. He als had a younger brother named Jon Christopher in the class of '81 that you may be able to track down.

Re:Looking for Sammy - 2008/05/07 19:08 The only sammy christophers listed in Hawaii are way over what our sammy's age would be. The sammy IV in maryland has no phone # so maybe I'll send a letter!
Maybe I'll have a little luck!
