Re:What's in YOUR closet? - 2008/07/14 15:26 A book on cd is a GREAT way to pass the time on a road trip! It's even better when you're travelling alone, since no one can interrupt the story. I like murder mysteries, but if you're nervous driving alone, you might want to go with something lighter. Safe travels!

Sometimes you have to lose yourself 'fore you can find anything.

My favorite quote from "Devilerance"

Re:What's in YOUR closet? - 2008/07/15 09:47 Brain,

ADVENTURE????

I would not call going by the SAME landmark, intersection, building, stop sign, light pole, etc an ADVENTURE. In my mind thats just plain LOST!!!!!

And forget pulling out the map!!!! Hey, now we really know why the invention of the GPS came about. Dont get me wrong its a great invention, but hey look on the bright side now you can blame getting LOST or as you say taking an ADVENTURE on the LADY in the GPS box.

Happy Trails.

Re:What's in YOUR closet? - 2008/07/15 21:21 I just have to get this off my conscience. I have this fear of one of my siblings coming to live with me. Does that ever bother any of you?

I have an idea for you Julie, see if Brangelina will adopt you. I like the sound of Juliedoe Jolie Pitt or even Julie Jolie Pitt!

hehehehehehe

So, my son's have both left for college and I am now on my own. I have never lived all alone and this is a great anxiety for me... Living alone, becoming the crazy cat lady (except I don't have any cats), choking on a fish bone and not being able to give myself the heineken manuvure, forgeting that I are not supposed to stick a fork in a toaster on a just mopped floor and electricuting myself. Nuclear war, martians (they eat the big ones first), houseplants taking over the world, paisley coming back into fashion and losing my sense of smell and not knowing when the milk goes bad.

Jewel's,

I have been thinking about your post the last several days and I wanted to share with you that you are obviously a special lady! (with a very vivid imagination!) I love silly. SILLY brightens my days and makes me smile or laugh, Great stuff....

I's time for you to do all those things you threatened you would do one day. NOW, every day is "Jewel's Day". Embrace it and step out into YOUR life, because you can, and most importantly because you have done an incredible job (like most parents try to do). Instilling the morals, values, and standards into your brilliant children and letting them go with GOD's incredible blessing upon them. Most of all, that "Hedge of Protection" around them.

Quit worrying and have fun......

Three weeks and still hating it....anybody want to add a slightly used almost forty seven year old to your household? Siblings need not apply.
p.s.I travel with a dog and play well with others
