Do you still have one?
Do you have a story about returning one?

Re:POW Bracelets - 2008/07/27 16:55 Hey Juledini- I still have my bracelet and the name on it is Lt. Col. Earl Grenzebach. He was MIA and still is to this day I do believe. Sad thought. **more cowbell**

Re:POW Bracelets - 2008/07/27 19:19 I still have my POW/MIA bracelet. The name on mine is Capt. Peter Sherman missing since 6/10/68. Back in the 90's in a small town outside Atl. they had an exact duplicate of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. I went to see it. Besides seeing the wall there were also many books with lists of the POW's and the missing. Of course the wall there was a lot smaller is size than the real one.
It was still overwhelming to see the number of names on the wall.
Captain Peter Woodbury Sherman was a casualty of the Vietnam war. As a member of the Navy, Capt. Sherman served our country until Oct. 17, 1973 in North Vietnam. He was 44 years old and married. Peter died when his place crashed into the land. His body was recovered. Peter was born Aug. 4, 1929 in Bay Village, Ohio.
Capt. Sherman is on panel 21E, line 084 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 22 years.
