Spray on your Charlie perfume, and wax that El Camino because it's finally time to boogie on over to Stone Mountain Park's Marriott Evergreen Resort & Conference Center on Saturday, September 13th, for our 30th Reunion!!!  This calls for a real celebration because who can believe that it has been 30 years?

The festivities begin at 7:30pm in The Rotunda Room with a full dinner buffet (appetizers, salad bar, pasta station, 3 different meat carvings, desserts with coffee and cash bar), located in a beautiful woodsy setting with a deck overlooking  the lake at Stone Mountain and with a patio at Evergreen's poolside area.  Attire will be casual.

Once again our Master of Ceremony for the evening will be William Pate, and '70s rock 'n roll dance music is to be provided by our very own "DJ Alan" McDaniel.  Earlier in the day there will be a Class of '78 Golf Tournament at the course adjacent to the resort. 

As mentioned in our first announcement, our Reunion Committee has been working on keeping the ticket price to a minimum.  We are pleased that this will be our lowest indoor ticket price ever - - only $44!!!  Entrance into Stone Mountain Park will be free for those who register, and parking at Evergreen is also free.  Within the next couple of weeks, you will be able to register and buy your ticket via PayPal through this website.  

We will also provide a link to Marriott's Evergreen Resort where there will be a special "SHS Reunion Package" website created for those that want to make a weekend of it!  There will be a block of hotel rooms set aside at a special rate for all Shamrockers.  Some might want to check in the night before in order to hang out with their former classmates at Stonewall's, the resort's sports bar, or at one of the pools (indoor, outdoor & whirlpool) the next day while the golfers are playing before the evening's big event.  On Sunday morning, the resort's Waterside Restaurant hosts a big brunch buffet for those that want to gather for one last good-bye before heading home.  (There's also a full Starbuck's coffee cafe, located just off the hotel lobby.)

Mark your calendars, and please note that UGA will be away at USC that weekend so it will be a perfect time to attend our 30th Reunion!  (For those that want to keep up with college scores during the party, there are TVs at Stonewall's which is located next to our rented reunion space.  It will be easy to pop in and out, just to keep an eye on your favorite game.)
